EFFEX ANALYTICAL SERVICES is a full-service environmental laboratory located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. We have been providing reliable analytical services to commercial and residential clients in Southern Nevada since 1985. EFFEX offers organic and inorganic analysis and bacteriological testing of air, soils, sludges, drinking water, and wastewater.

EFFEX is certified by the State of Nevada to perform water quality analysis required under the Safe Drinking Water Act, wastewater analysis required by facilities having a water pollution control permit, and bacteriological tesing for E.coli, fecal, and total coliform.

We collect air, water, soil, and waste samples according to project-specific sampling, preservation, and chain-of-custody requirements. Sample containers are provided to clients at no charge.

For most analyses, we use EPA Methods and Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 19th Edition. When a standard method for a nonroutine sample is not available,we will find a method of analysis.

Our laboratory staff follow rigid quality assurance/quality control procedures. Internal laboratory audits are conducted routinely to ensure that these procedures are followed.
